The City Manager has been instructed to pursue alternative plans for the real estate. This Request for Proposals and any proposals that are submitted are expected to guide City Commission in its decisions with respect to this real estate.

The City of Springfield wants to make citizens aware of a scam happening within our city limits. A tree company posing as a city Code Enforcement official has been reaching out to residents stating that their property has “Code Violations” that need to be rectified immediately and that they can provide the service for them to fix the violations at the resident’s expense, but if the residents comply, they would be eligible for grant money reimbursed from the city. THIS IS NOT TRUE. Elderly residents are the primary target. If someone approaches you or anyone you know, please contact the Springfield Police Division immediately at 937.324.7685.
Curl Troy, the curling club based out of Miami County that started a Springfield league for the first time this year, will host its first Clark County tournament this weekend.
The Champion City Spiel begins today with 96 players on 24 teams competing at the National Trail Parks and Recreation District’s Chiller ice rink in downtown Springfield, 301 W. Main St.
