The Economic Development Department strives to promote a healthy business environment in the City of Springfield, where job opportunities are being created, existing businesses are healthy and growing, and new companies are being recruited to Springfield. The Department works to promote a diverse local economy producing a multitude of opportunities for the community's residents.
