Global Education Speaker Event to Highlight Baha’i Faith

SPRINGFIELD (Nov. 2, 2020) – The Global Education and Peace Network will hold the next installment in its Global Education Series, “Connecting through the Distance: Practicing Faith, Hope and Love in Pandemic Times, Baha’i Connections,” on Zoom Thursday, Nov. 12 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The event will feature Dr. Kayvon Nezhad of the Baha’i Community of Springfield as he speaks about the Baha’i faith tradition and how they are handling the pandemic and working on racism. Participants may enjoy a video explaining Baha’i teachings.

Dr. Nezhad is member of the Springfield Baha’i Community and has been a member of the Global Education and Peace Network for several years.
