The CBC Business of the Year Award went to the Springfield Masonic Community campus at 2655 West National Road, a CBC Business Award was presented for The Heritage Center, 117 South Fountain Avenue and CBC Continuing Beautification Awards were presented for Littleton & Rue Funeral Home & Crematory, 830 N. Limestone Street; Madison Avenue Pharmacy, 640 N. Fountain Avenue; Rocking Horse Center, 651 S. Limestone Street and Clark County Public Library, 201 S. Fountain Avenue.
Special Awards were presented for various efforts contributing to the CBC mission to enhance the natural beauty of the city. The CBC Neighborhood Improvement Award went to Mundy’s Diner, 920 Selma Road. A non-entry CBC Recognition Award was presented to Sheryl Cox and Dr. Tim Bode for their beautiful historic home and gardens. Project Jericho and the Springfield Public Art Committee were recognized for their downtown wall art beautification projects in 2019. Adopt-A-Bed Awards went to Bonnie Crace, Robert & Teresa Webb and Dale Lucas.
The CBC presented first year CBC Shield Awards to new participants and numeral awards to former winners.
Mayor Warren Copeland, City Commissioner Joyce Chilton and City Manager Bryan Heck congratulated all the winners for their beautification accomplishments.
