SPRINGFIELD (April 9, 2024) – The Neighborhood Street Paving Project is now in its seventh year, and plans are being finalized for this paving season. Close to 100 streets have been repaved since the Street Paving Project’s inception in 2018.
The program was launched following the passage of an earned income tax levy approved by voters in 2017. The City of Springfield promised to apply part of those tax levy funds to repairing neighborhood streets.
More work is planned for 2024. Neighborhood streets planned for this year (list includes Ohio Public Works and Ohio Department of Transportation projects):

- North Broadmoor Boulevard
- Audubon Park Drive
- Pembrook Road
- Walnut Terrace
- South Yellow Springs, (Phase 2)
- Fountain Avenue
