The City of Springfield requires residents to submit an electronic submittal of plans for residential construction and remodeling. Types of work requiring plan submittal include: new construction and additions; structural alteration, repair or renovation of existing spaces; electrical, gas and heating, ventilation and air conditioning; and fire detection and suppression systems.
